RCMP seeking public’s help following break, enter and thefts

The Chaleur Region RCMP is asking for the public’s help in connection with several break and enter incidents in Salmon Beach and Nepisiguit Falls, N.B. 

On the evening of March 18, 2026, one or more individuals broke into two seasonal homes on Ocean Walk Drive in Salmon Beach. To date, nothing has been reported as stolen. At the time of the incident, the suspect(s) were travelling in a U-Haul truck.

On the same evening, one or more individuals, also travelling in a U-Haul truck, broke into four seasonal homes on Austin Brook Road in Nepisiguit Falls. Several items were stolen, including a refrigerator, a generator, power tools, FXR and Yamaha snowmobile clothing, a guitar, a large speaker, a television, and more. 

Police are releasing a surveillance footage photo of a suspect in hopes that, despite the quality of the image, someone may recognize the individual. The individual is described as having a medium build and wearing all black clothing, including a black Outbound jacket and oversized plastic gloves.
