33-year-old woman dies following single-vehicle crash

A 33-year-old woman from Tantramar, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash near Meadow Brook, N.B.

On April 22, 2026, at approximately 2:45 a.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Route 2 near Meadow Brook. A 30-year-old man from Tantramar, N.B., was transported to hospital with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries. A second occupant, a 33-year-old woman, also from Tantramar, died at the scene as a result of her injuries. 

Members of the Dieppe Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist and an RCMP Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (drone) operator attended the scene. A member of the New Brunswick Coroner’s office also attended the scene and is assisting with the ongoing investigation.

Police have determined that the vehicle involved in the crash had been reported as stolen from the Sackville, N.B., region on April 14.

At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
