The Richibucto RCMP is asking for the public's help to identify two individuals following an attempted theft in Sainte-Marie-De-Kent, N.B.
On April 27, 2026, at approximately 7 p.m., two individuals entered a business on route 515 in Sainte-Marie-De-Kent with a weapon and attempted to leave the store without paying but were unsuccessful. They fled toward Bouctouche in a grey Hyundai Tucson with Quebec licence plate BQS 10L. No one was injured during this incident.
Police are now releasing surveillance footage photos in hopes that someone may recognize them or the vehicle used.
Both individuals are described as men that are approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall. At the time of the incident, they were both wearing all black clothing.
