RCMP seeking to identify an individual following theft

The Saint-Léonard RCMP is seeking the public's assistance to identify a person of interest following a theft in Lower Portage, N.B.

The theft is believed to have occurred on April 28, 2026, between 5: a.m. and 6 a.m., at a business on Limestone Siding Road, in Lower Portage Road, south of Grand Falls. An individual approached the business and stole packages from the steps that had previously been delivered, before fleeing the scene in a red Chevrolet pickup truck. 

The individual is described as being a man in his late 30’s, approximately five feet 11 inches (180 centimetres) tall, weighing approximately 165 pounds (75 kilograms). At the time of the theft, the individual was wearing a black jacket, blue hoodie, dark pants and work boots. 

Police are releasing a surveillance footage photo of the individual and pickup in hopes that someone may recognize them.

Anyone who recognizes the individual, the pickup truck or has information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Saint-Léonard RCMP at 506-473-3137. The investigation is ongoing.
