The New Brunswick RCMP has seized drugs and a firearm in connection with a drug trafficking investigation in St. Stephen, N.B.

On May 6, 2026, at approximately 7 p.m., members of the St. Stephen, McAdam, St. George and St. Andrews RCMP detachments executed a search warrant at a residence on Princess Street in St. Stephen, in connection with the drug trafficking investigation.

As a result of the search, police seized quantities of what are believed to be fentanyl, crystal meth, crack-cocaine, an undisclosed amount of cash, drug paraphernalia, a cell phone and an unsecured long gun. The owner of the firearm did not have a Possession and Acquisition Licence.

During the operation, police safely arrested a 27-year-old woman from St. Stephen. The 27-year-old woman was later released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on August 26, 2026.

"This investigation has resulted in harmful drugs being taken off the streets of St. Stephen and surrounding areas," says Sgt. Pierre Ladouceur of the St. Stephen RCMP. “These results reflect the dedication and diligence of our frontline officers, whose continued efforts are essential in keeping our communities safe.”
