Update, May 27, 2026: The 22-year-old woman from Welamukotuk (Oromocto) First Nation, who was reported missing to police on May 19, 2026, has been located safe. The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance. 

The Oromocto RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 22-year-old woman from Welamukotuk (Oromocto) First Nation, N.B.

She was last seen on April 14, 2026, at approximately 1:00 a.m., in Welamukotuk (Oromocto) First Nation. She was reported missing to police on May 19, 2026. Police have followed up on several leads to try to locate her but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and her family are concerned for her wellbeing.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Oromocto RCMP at 506-357-4300.
