The Codiac Regional RCMP is seeking the public’s help to identify a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and driver involved in a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian in Dieppe, N.B.

On May 5, 2026, at approximately 12:20 p.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Champlain Street and Acadie Avenue, in Dieppe. The vehicle failed to remain at the scene and was last seen driving southbound on Acadie Avenue. A 38-year-old man that was struck by the vehicle was treated at the scene by medics with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The SUV is described as a dark grey 2013-2017 Buick Enclave. The driver is described as being a woman in her late 60’s, with short light-coloured hair. 

Anyone who recognizes the vehicle, was in the area at the time of the incident, has dash cam footage, or has information that could help further the investigation, is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400. The investigation is ongoing.
