RCMP seeks public assistance to identify individuals following suspicious activity at the border

The RCMP Federal Eastern Region Border Integrity Unit in Saint-Leonard is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals involved in suspicious activity near the Canada-United States border.
The incident occurred on May 30, 2026, when two individuals were seen were seen walking along the border.
Police are now releasing photos in hopes that someone may recognize the individuals. Both individuals are believed to be men wearing toques, warm jackets, rain boots, backpacks.
Anyone who recognizes the individuals in the photo, or who has information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the NB RCMP at 1-888-506-RCMP (7267). The RCMP would also like to remind the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity near the border to police. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.
