Man and women charged following child sexual offences

A 46-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman, both from Val d’Amour, N.B., were charged in connection with an investigation into child sexual offences.
The investigation, led by the New Brunswick RCMP's Internet Child Exploitation Unit and members of the Campbellton RCMP, began in March 2023, following information of child sexual offences in Val d’Amour.
On June 28, 2023, members of the RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit, along with members of Campbellton RCMP, executed a search warrant at a residence in Val d’Amour, N.B. As part of the investigation, a man and a woman were arrested at the scene, and police seized several electronic devices. Both individuals were later released on strict condition pending a future court appearance.
On August 19, 2024, Kenneth Ernest Wilson, and Annie St-Clair, both from Val d’Amour, appeared in Kings of Bench Court in Campbellton, and were both charged with two counts of invitation to sexual touching, sexual interference, sexual assault, uttering threats and exhibitions. They were released from custody pending a future court appearance.
On May 25, 2026, a jury trial in the Court of King’s Bench began.
On June 15, 2026, 46-year-old Kenneth Ernest Wilson appeared in Kings of Bench Court in Campbellton and was found guilty of two counts of invitation to sexual touching, sexual interference, sexual assault, uttering threats and exhibitions.
The same day, 47-year-old Annie St-Clair appeared in Kings of Bench Court in Campbellton and was found guilty of sexual interference, sexual assault, uttering threats, and exhibitions.
They were both remanded into custody. They will return to court on August 27, 2026, for their sentencing.
The New Brunswick RCMP's Internet Child Exploitation Unit includes members from the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force.
