Update: The 50-year-old man from Mechanic Settlement, N.B. who was reported missing to the police on June 22, 2026, has been located safe and sound. The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance. 

The Sussex RCMP Detachment is asking for the public's help locating a missing 50-year-old man from Mechanic Settlement, New Brunswick.  

He was last seen on June 15, 2026, at approximately 12 p.m., near Mechanic Lake Road in Mechanic Settlement. He was reported missing to police on June 22, 2026. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing. 

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Sussex RCMP at 506-433-7700.
