23-year-old man charged in connection with sexual assault

A 23-year-old man from Saint-Quentin, N.B., has been charged in connection with a sexual assault in the community. 

In June 2024, members of the Saint-Quentin RCMP detachment began an investigation following a report that a youth had been sexually assaulted by a man in the community. 

On June 22, 2024, a then-21-year-old man was arrested in Saint-Quentin, in connection with the investigation. He was later released on conditions pending a future court appearance. 

On June 29, Yoan Querry appeared in Campbellton Provincial Court and was charged with sexual assault. 

On July 3, 2026, following a trial by jury, Yoan Querry was found guilty of sexual assault.
