A 29-year-old man from Blacks Harbour, N.B., has been charged in connection with a homicide investigation in Blacks Harbour, N.B.
On July 17, 2026, at approximately 1:50 a.m., members of the St. George RCMP detachment received a request for a wellness check on Wellington Road in Blacks Harbour. Upon arrival to the residence, Police located the body of a deceased woman inside. The woman has since been identified as 45-year-old Patricia Honeywell.
On July 17, 2026, Jordan Blanchard appeared in Saint John Provincial Court via tele-remand and was charged with aggravated assault. He was remanded into custody.
On July 24, Jordan Blanchard returned to Saint John Provincial Court and was charged with second-degree murder. He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to return to court on August 21, 2026.
The investigation is ongoing.
