RCMP seeking public's assistance following an assault

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's assistance to help identify an individual involved in an aggravated assault which occurred in Moncton, N.B. 

On May 5, 2026, at approximately 2:45 a.m., the Codiac Regional RCMP received a report of an assault outside of a business on Main Street, in Moncton. The victim sustained a broken nose, and the suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. 

Police are now releasing surveillance footage photos in hopes that, despite the quality, someone may recognize the individual who is described as a man with a slim build, black hair that is just above shoulder length, and a tattoo on his right shoulder. 

Anyone who recognizes the individual in the photos, or who has information that may help further the investigation, is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.
