48-year-old man dies following single-motorcycle crash

A 48-year-old man from Evergreen, N.B., has died following a single-motorcycle crash in Eel River Bar, N.B.

On August 28, 2026, at approximately 11:29 p.m., members of the Campbellton RCMP responded to a report of a single-motorcycle crash in Eel River Bar.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver of the motorcycle lost control and landed in the ditch. The driver and sole occupant, a 48-year-old man from Evergreen, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

On August 29, 2026, the individual died in hospital as a result of his injuries.

Members of the Eel River Crossing Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick attended the scene. 

The investigation is ongoing.
