One individual dead following single-vehicle crash

A 26-year-old man, from the Kedgwick region, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash in Falls Brook, near Kedgwick River, N.B.

On September 6, 2026, at approximately 2 a.m., members of the Saint-Quentin RCMP, the Kedgwick Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on a logging road in Falls Brook.   

The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver lost control of their vehicle and left the roadway. The only passenger of the vehicle, a 26-year-old man died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The driver, a 31-year-old woman from Saint-Quentin, N.B., is not believed to have sustained any injuries at the time of the crash.  

A New Brunswick RCMP Collision Reconstructionist, and a member of the New Brunswick Coroner's Office are assisting with the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
