RCMP seeking information about vehicle of interest in homicide of Jayden Tynes

The RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division Major Crime Unit is seeking information regarding a vehicle seen leaving North Preston following the homicide of Jayden Tynes.
On November 2, at approximately 4:58 p.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment and EHS responded to a report of shots fired near the intersection of Cain St. and Clarence St. in North Preston.
Upon arrival, officers found 28-year-old Jayden Tynes suffering from gunshot wounds. Tynes was transported to hospital by EHS, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
A vehicle believed to be a white, four-door Hyundai Elantra with dark tinted windows was seen travelling south on Lake Major Rd. shortly after the shooting, at approximately 5:30 p.m. Investigators believe this vehicle may be associated with the homicide of Jayden Tynes and are appealing to the public for information regarding its owner or driver.

Jayden Tynes’ case is included in the Nova Scotia Department of Justice Reward for Major Unsolved Crimes Program. A reward of up to $150,000 is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the homicide of Jayden Tynes.
