Inuvik RCMP seek public assistance in locating missing person

Inuvik RCMP are asking the public for help in locating 32-year-old Lance Dennis Charles Briere.

On February 17, 2025, Inuvik RCMP received a missing persons complaint indicating Briere had not been seen since February 8th, 2025. Briere is described as an Indigenous male, approximately 5’9” tall and weighing approximately 160lbs.

Police believe Briere to be in possession of a black 900 Ace Ski-Doo Expedition LE (snowmobile). 

Briere has ties to the Yukon but is currently believed to be in the Northwest Territories.
