On March 7 at approximately 1:16 a.m. Yellowknife RCMP received a report that a tour bus had been stolen from a gas station after it was left running unoccupied.

Officers located the vehicle less than an hour later in a parking lot, where it was contained by police vehicles. The bus backed into a police vehicle before coming to a stop. The driver was arrested without further incident.

• Operation of a conveyance while impaired by drug, contrary to section 320.14(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
• Operation of a vehicle with a suspended licence, contrary to section 119 of the Motor Vehicles Act.

Kayla Crozier was held for a bail hearing and subsequently remanded into custody. No injuries were reported as a result of this matter.
