Behchokǫ̀ RCMP seeking whereabouts of wanted individual

Police in Behchokǫ̀ are requesting information from the public regarding the location of a wanted individual.

37-year-old Joey James Chocolate, who also goes by “DJ Chocolate” is currently subject to an arrest warrant for several serious charges, including:
• Forcible confinement, contrary to section 279(2) of the Criminal Code
• Assault, contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code
• Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
• Failure to comply with a probation order, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code

Mr. Chocolate is described as Indigenous with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 168cm (5’6”) tall and 73kg (160lbs).
