⯈ Between June 1 and June 4, Saskatchewan RCMP’s WEST assisted Battlefords RCMP by arresting four individuals, all wanted for serious offences, while executing 12 arrest warrants. Read the full release here.
⯈ On June 11, Battlefords RCMP arrested and charged an individual after seizing illicit drugs during a traffic stop in North Battleford. Items seized include 35 grams of methamphetamine, two grams of psilocybin, 1.66 kilograms of illicit cannabis, and more. Read full release here.

⯈ On June 6th, Corporal Brewer was honoured to participate in the first Blue Jean Jacket Day in North Battleford. The event honored Missing and Murdered Indigenous Men, Boys and Two-Spirited Peoples. Participants walked in solidarity, shared stories of their loved ones, and enjoyed a meal together.
⯈ On June 20th, the Office of the Treaty Commissioner and Parks Canada hosted a commemoration marking the 150th anniversary of the signing of Treaty 6 in Fort Battleford. As part of the grand entry, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Chief Superintendent Chamberlin, Superintendent Olberg, Inspector How, and Constable Fontaine were honoured to carry a variety of flags, celebrating culture and community connection.
⯈ On June 18th, Kanaweyimik hosted its annual Traditional Pow Wow at the Western Development Museum in North Battleford, celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day with traditional dancing and drumming. Despite the rain, Battleford RCMP’s Inspector How and Corporal Brewer proudly carried flags in the Grand Entry. The event brought together youth, families, and veterans, with leaders highlighting the importance of guiding youth and thanking parents for their support.
