SPOTLIGHT

⯈ On Aug. 26, Battlefords RCMP arrested a North Battleford man following a robbery investigation. Officers received a report that a suspect threatened a victim with a weapon and attempted to rob them before fleeing in a vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier that evening. When officers located the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop, the suspect fled, striking several parked vehicles before abandoning the vehicle and being arrested on foot. A 32-year-old male, now faces multiple charges, including robbery with a weapon, possession of stolen property, flight from police, dangerous driving, and several weapons-related offences. Read more here.

OUR COMMUNITY

⯈ On July 20, 2026, the Battlefords Detachment hosted its annual charity golf tournament at a local golf course, welcoming 128 golfers in support of local causes. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and participants, the event raised nearly $9,000. On August 25, Inspector How and Sergeant Stephens were pleased to present donations to Battlefords Victim Services, the Battlefords Citizens on Patrol Program, and the North Battleford Legion.

⯈ On August 31, 2026, Corporal Bell attended the community BBQ hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters at a local skate park in North Battleford. While Cpl Bell served hot dogs to community members, Inspector How and Corporal Moerike, with Police Dog Services, stopped by to show their support.
