Wainwright RCMP respond to fatal motor vehicle collision - update

Wainwright, Alta. – Further police investigation has revealed the minivan was northbound on Highway 41 no longer in the process of attempting to pass any other vehicles at the time of the head-on collision. Dashcam footage revealed the minivan was in the northbound lane and unfortunately crossed back over the center line into the southbound lane which resulted in this fatal collision with a semi-truck.

Wainwright RCMP share condolences with the family and friends of the deceased.
