Grande Prairie RCMP investigate disturbance at college - update

Grande Prairie, Alta. – Grande Prairie RCMP have laid charges in connection with an individual causing a disturbance and pointing a replica firearm at several locations in Grande Prairie. 

RCMP have charged a 27-year-old resident of Horse Lake resident with;

• Pointing a firearm;
• Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; and
• Fail to comply with release conditions.

The individual was taken before a Justice of the Peace and remanded into custody with their next court date set for March 30, 2026, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Grande Prairie.
