Maskwacis RCMP advises of highway closure – Update #1

Maskwacis, Alta. – Maskwacis RCMP would like to advise the public that they have reopened one Northbound lane on Highway 2. Speeds will be reduced in the area as crews will be on site overnight. The Highway is expected to reopen in the late morning on April 9, 2026. The public is asked to please slow down before arriving in the area and respect the posted signage.

An update is anticipated once the highway is fully reopen.
