Beaverlodge RCMP – Amber Alert issued for 6-year-old Lanakai Morrison - Update #4

Beaverlodge, Alta. –Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is still seeking assistance in locating two missing children, Lanakai and Karl Morrison. They are believed to be with Lanakai’s mother Krista Morrison and Karl’s father Daniel Ludwig. There was indication they were in B.C in the Okanagan Valley near Vernon, possibly travelling east towards the Kootenays. They are very mobile and could be in Northern B.C., the Yukon or Alberta. They were last believed to be driving in a 2006 Red Ford F350 that has a lift and larger tires or may be driving a motorhome. 

Lanakai Morrison is described as:

  • 6 years-old
  • Slight build
  • Long light brown hair
  • Brown eyes

Karl Morrison is described as a 4-year-old with blonde hair. 

Krista Morrison and Daniel Ludwig are both wanted by police for abduction in contravention of a custody/parenting order. 

35-year-old Krista Morrison is described as: 

  • 5 feet 8 inches tall 
  • Medium build
  • Long dark brown hair
  • Brown eyes

35-year-old Daniel Ludwig is described as: 

  • 5 feet 11 inches tall
  • Large build
  • Brown hair and brown eyes
