Valleyview, Alta. – Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit (MCU) continues the investigation into the homicide of a 38-year-old. RCMP advise that the semi truck and driver witness has been identified. The Alberta RCMP thanks the public for their assistance in this investigation thus far.
RCMP continue to ask the public for assistance in obtaining dashcam footage. Police are still seeking dash camera video of vehicles travelling through Valleyview on either Highway 43 or Highway 49 between 10:30 p.m. on April 9, 2026, and 1:30 a.m. on April 10, 2026. You are asked to contact the Valleyview RCMP at 780-524-3345.
