Slave Lake RCMP on scene of serious motor vehicle collision – Update 3

Slave Lake, Alta. – On June 30, 2026, an arrest was made in relation to a fatal motor vehicle collision that took place in Slave Lake on May 3, 2026. Thanks to an arrest warrant obtained by Slave Lake RCMP, Edmonton Police Service were able to arrest the suspect.

As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old resident of Edmonton, was charged with 2 counts of criminal negligence cause death and 2 counts of dangerous driving causing death. The individual brought before a justice of the peace and released on conditions. They are to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Slave Lake on July 22, 2026.
