Professional Ethics Office

The Professional Ethics Office (PEO) plays a vital role in fostering a professional and respectful workplace. PEO equips RCMP employees with tools, resources and guidance - through its policies and awards - to uphold the highest ethical standards, as outlined in the RCMP's strategic plan, the Core Values and the Organizational Values Statement.

The Professional Ethics Office consists of three programs.

Services and information

Values and ethics

Honours and Recognition

Recognizes the dedication, service and accomplishments of those who exemplify the values of the RCMP.

Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act

Provides RCMP employees a secure and confidential process to disclose wrongdoing in the workplace without fear of reprisal.
