Values and ethics

On this page

The Professional Ethics Office (PEO) provides expertise and resources for employees to foster a professional environment where the RCMP Core Values are upheld and ethical considerations are integral to everyday actions. The PEO is responsible for providing education and guidance, and promoting professionalism across the organization.

Conflict of Interest Policy

The RCMP Conflict of Interest (COI) Policy co-acts with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's Directive on Conflict of Interest to guide employees in avoiding, managing, reporting, and resolving real, apparent or potential COI situations.

Values Statements

The Organizational Values Statement and the Personal Values Statement were developed as part of the Vision 150 and beyond and the Core Values renewal initiative. These statements support the RCMP's modernization efforts by shaping workplace culture and guiding employees' actions.
