Steps in the process

Express interest: Contact an Experienced Police Officer Coordinator to discuss available postings and submit the application form and questionnaire to start the application.
Submit forms: Complete and submit forms and documents including a cover letter and resume.
Pass the Police Fitness Assessment: Assess your physical abilities by successfully completing the RCMP Police Fitness Assessment.
Complete a suitability interview: Get an assessment on core competencies, core values, and traits required of an RCMP police officer.
Undergo medical and psychological assessments: See an RCMP-designated physician and psychologist for a medical and psychological suitability assessment.
Undergo a field investigation and security screening: The RCMP will conduct a thorough investigation into your background to help assess your suitability.
Complete the 3-week training: Conclude your process with tailored training to prepare for your first posting.
